Showlist is a service by i-creativi s.r.l.s. You can delete your account whenever you like, from inside the app: you don't have to write to anyone and there is nothing to wait for. Below are the steps, and exactly what goes and what stays.
Open Showlist and go to Profile, at the end of the navigation bar.
Tap Settings, then scroll to the DATA & PRIVACY section.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm: you'll be asked to tick that you understand the action can't be undone, and to type the word DELETE. Two steps on purpose — this is not something anyone should be able to do by accident.
Deletion is immediate. There is no grace period and the account cannot be recovered.
In the same DATA & PRIVACY section there is Export my data, which hands you a file with everything Showlist holds about you: profile, library, watch history, ratings, comments, reactions, achievements, requests and the people you follow.
It's worth doing before you delete, because afterwards it is no longer possible.
Your account and sign-in credentials.
Your profile: username, display name, bio, favourite genres.
Your profile picture and any images you attached to comments.
Your library and watch history: series and films you track, episodes marked watched, ratings, and where you said you watched each title.
Your comments, reactions and likes.
The lists you created, public ones included, and the notes inside them.
The people you follow, your followers, and anyone you blocked.
Notifications, achievements, title requests and votes on requests.
The device token used for push notifications.
Technical error logs remain, but with no link to you: the reference to your account is cleared at deletion. They exist so we can tell why the app crashed, and without them a defect someone already reported becomes invisible again. They hold the error message, the device model and the app version — not your content. They are deleted automatically 90 days after they are recorded.
Encrypted database backups, which are overwritten on a rotation, may hold a copy of your data for a short period after deletion. They are not readable from the product and are replaced by the next backup cycle.
Nothing else is kept, and nothing is sold or passed to third parties.
If you've lost access to your account and can't use the in-app flow, write to info@i-creativi.com from the email address you registered with. We'll verify it's yours and do it for you.
